Windsor Castle with Auntie Bo-Bo

Today at Windsor Castle we were inspired by the castle guards. We practiced saluting, marching and standing very still (didn't do that so well.) We even found guard pj's and a hat. Now that is a sight to see! Just wait!

Out on the town

We enjoyed a post-castle dinner out. After enjoying some mojitos, etc., we ventured into the local graveyard at night for some pre-Halloween spooks.

Trebuchet demonstration

Warwick is home to the world's largest trebuchet. A trebuchet is a huge wooden catapult that was used to launch things (like dead animals) over castle walls in order to attempt to contaminate the water supply and then seige the castle. We watched the demonstration and today fortunately used bolders. (A bit of a muddy day which you can notice on the dirty bum.)
