The Great Hall

In most of the rooms in the palace you are not allowed to take pictures because of restoration efforts so this is anther shot from the web. It is the Great Hall which is the largest room in the palace and was used as a dining hall for important guests and those well connected in the court. It is unbelievable, intricate wood working and painting as well as amazing tapestries. Throughout the palace there are 600 rooms, each more amazing than the last. Pictures don't do justice but we'll do our best. (The Great Hall was also a great place for a nap.)
