A Tale of Two Castles






Queen Mary II and King William III moved into the castle in 1689. They wanted to renovate Henry's Tudor style and remodel with baroque architecture. Mary died during construction of small pox and money ran low so the renovation stopped. Look at the picture to the left to see how the two styles remain to this day.
