Today we visited Hellfire Caves, just a few minutes from our house in a small village called Wycombe. They were excavated in the 1700's by the eccentric Sir Francis Dashwood who started the creepy Hellfire Club. They held secret meetings in the cave and little is known about what occured in the meetings to this day. (Although it is often referred to as 18th century debauchery.) Benjamin Franklin is said to have visited the area and caves often.
